Meditation
All yogic practices, especially meditation, are designed to reveal the purest quality that is occurring on the tissue and the cellular level of the body and the electric waves of the mind. Join Stamaste to help in learning such techniques for clearing the mind both on and off the mat. I will lead you through guided meditation, and eventually, you can use such practices on your own. You will learn strategies to help reduce anxiety and stress and help bring about positive change in your life.

Reiki
The Reiki process is a simple method of hands-on healing as developed by Dr. Mikao Usui, a teacher of theology in Kyoto, Japan, where the energy is used to normalize mind and body functions.
As a certified Reiki practitioner, I offer sessions to hold space for your healing and to support you in giving attention to your vibrations and energy field. My process works as described below:
I can Scan the body of the person receiving treatment and perceive areas of reduced vitality flow. Once those areas of reduced vitality flow are perceived, I than channel Reiki energy into yourself or transmit to others, and sense the energy as it flows through your hands. I also appreciate how attitudes can create dis-ease in the mind and emotions, and how the physical body might be affected.
I have my Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 Advanced Reiki studies certification from the New York City Reiki Institute, guided by Nana Deleplanque,

You can receive healing from me in the comfort of your own home.

Corporate
Rejuvenate and inspire your workforce for Stamaste! We take a mindful approach to yoga by helping to improve employees’ physical health, and counterbalancing the negative effects of sitting and working at a desk. We also help to improve positive energy, mental clarity, focus and confidence.
Each program is customized to the individual needs of the business. It can be a series of weekly classes that students can drop in to or a pre-designed set of modules that build upon each other.
Office yoga: With office yoga, if your problems include a sore lower back, stiff neck, and tight hips and hamstrings from sitting at a desk all day, office yoga can help! Stamaste’s solution would be to practice such poses and sequences at an employees desk or chair to help minimize discomfort throughout the day, making it easier to focus on work. Yoga sessions at an employees desk and chair can range anywhere from 20-45 minutes.
Conference Room Yoga: This is ideal for companies that desire on site yoga and wellness, however, they lack a large enough space for such a program. Class can be held in a break room, or conference room, and employees get to wear their work clothes for standing and chair practices. Breathing exercises and meditation are a component, as well. Classes are offered before work, during lunch, or after work to suit most office schedules. These sessions can range anywhere from 20-60 minutes, depending on the time available.
Meditation: Stamaste can help solve employee issues, which result from spending a great deal of time behind a desk, or in a conference room. Having a short meditation practice that helps employees relax while at work can be beneficial. The desk chair meditation gives employees a great way to incorporate a short mindfulness practice into their day. It can range anywhere from 15-45 minutes, depending on the availability of the employee. All we need is five minutes of simple stretching prior to seated meditation. Express meditation is also an option, for those who have unpredictable work schedules and seek meditation on an on-call basis.
Special Wellness Event: If your employees need a day out of the office and would like a wellness retreat, I would love to help! A day out of the office doing yoga and meditation not only emphasizes team building, but it also promotes worker productivity! Access to the outdoors can relieve stress and increase sociability. If your company is thinking about having a health fair, or hosts an employee wellness day, Stamaste can be of great assistance. Stamaste can be a wonderful addition to a conference, meeting, or event.
Express Breaks: This offering allows students to wear yoga clothes, if they so choose. Sessions last about 45-60 minutes. Employees generally return to work following the class.
Workshops: Yoga is a holistic practice, as well as a lifestyle. I would love to bring a health and wellness workshop to your employees, with topics ranging from reducing stress and tension through yoga and mindfulness, healthy and mindful eating, goal and intention setting, as well as quick breathing techqniues to efficiently relieve stress during those tough times.
Cost: Contact Stacee for a free consultation to determine cost, attendance based upon location capacity. Space is limited to 1-3 businesses per year.
Availability + Location: Corporate Wellness sessions can be scheduled at an agreeable time and can be hosted at the business site or we can arrange a location off-site. Participants will need to provide their own yoga mat and props.
Stacee Finkelstein, the founder of Stamaste, teaches public classes in DC. She is an E-RYT 500 and trained in Reiki 2. She became a doTERRA wellness advocate in 2020.
She has taught yoga at many lavender farms, sunflower farms, parks, and gardens, as well as in many residential buildings, including Brookfield properties the estate at Navy Yard, as well as Bozzuto management properties. She also teaches at the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, as well as various country clubs.
She also teaches private and group yoga classes and offers workshops, trainings, and retreats.
